We know how difficult if can be to find pet friendly accommodation, but look no further, as we have the perfect get-away for you and your pets. Located in Winkelspruit, in the South Coast of KZN and best of all, it’s close to a beautiful, dog friendly beach!

Cabanas del Mar (Not Pet Friendly)

The units can accommodate from 2 or 6 people, We are based in Winklespruit on the KZN South Coast, close to all amenities, walking distance, Shopping centres, well known fishing spots and a safe swimming beach.

We also accommodate MSC Travelers.  Traveling arrangements can be done.

Kindly note that 16 Cabanas Del Mar is a beach resort and unfortunately not pet friendly.

Pet friendly accommodation with everything you need to relax and unwind.

Our cozy, pet-friendly units have everything you need to relax and unwind from your busy everyday life. We are within walking distance (250m) of the quiet and beautiful St. Winifred’s Beach for sand and sunshine. On rainy days, we also have two malls in close proximity (800m). Additionally, there is a medical clinic (450m) for those unforeseen moments. You may also want to utilize the many food delivery services available. Most importantly, your fur babies are just as important to us as you are!

I had the most wonderful stay! The unit was spotless, beautifully set up, and had absolutely everything I could possibly need. The ocean view was breathtaking — I loved enjoying my breakfast each morning while watching the waves. What a lovely, welcoming place. The owners are so friendly and accommodating. We had a lovely time with our old doggie and puppy. So close to the beach. Close to everything. Will definitely go back.

Wow what a wonderful complex the owners are very friendly and accommodating. The unit has everything that you can wish for the beach and shops are in walking distances the air fryer and WI fi is a big plus. It's the best ever for pets of all the pet friendly places I have stayed at. They will see me again

We had such a lovely time at Mattaniah, and will definitely be visiting them again! There are so many benefits to staying here: A whole flat to yourself with a big shower Fully equipped kitchen Own braai facilities outside Your own yard Pet friendly Ample green grass for your dogs Sea view Close to beach and shops And all that at an affordable price, for a very neat and clean place with friendly owners. There is just nothing else you can ask for!

John’s place was an absolute delight. The pictures didn’t do it any justice. The place was great, clean, convenient and had a lot of amenities to make use of. John’s very responsive and helpful, he responded to each message and was beyond hospitable. The beach is a stone throw away and walking out the home to the sound of the ocean was amazing. We’re all so well rested and this home certainly ensured we’d be hassle and stress free. I’d certainly return for another vacation.

Very quiet, safe and respectable location for a peaceful getaway. Actually therapeutic. Easy walk to the beach. Very close to shopping centres. Cosy place with every little thing catered for. The hosts are very responsive, patient, warm and friendly people and own the most adorable dogs I've seen in a long time, part of the therapy, I dare say. Great value!

This fully furnished unit is just perfect for a break-away or for a long stay and is wonderful if you have pets. There is nothing that you need that you will not find in the unit. The owners are so friendly and accommodating at all times. For me it felt like home...

Jon and Wilna were amazing on my stay. They gave clear communication which was amazing and they were so understanding when I was unintentionally wasting their time. The place is perfect cute with everything one needs and the beach is a block away. Was so peaceful and their dogs are the cutest! Highly recommended especially for the price.

Amazing Hosts ! They gave us a day ahead of check in as check in was on a Monday so we arrived in KZN early and they welcomed us a day before check in. Very friendly and professional and a real stunning view of the ocean ! not even 300 meters away from the beach. We really enjoyed our stay!

We had a great stay with John and Wilna, we had an entire unit to ourselves, own access, nice and private, our unit was cleaned and linen changed every week, personal laundry was made available to us at a discounted price, John and Wilna are very quick to attend to anything we needed, we honestly had no problems, so very very close to the beach, great view and sea breeze. We had a months stay, highly recommend. God Bless

The best accommodation for beach lovers! 5 min walking distance to the beach and a sea view from the garden. Also there is an outdoor shower which we used after a long beach day. We enjoyed our stay, thank you!

Ons het by Unit 1 gebly en was baie gemaklik daar gewees. John en Wilna was baie gasvry en ek sal dit aanbeveel vir enige iemand. Ons hondekind Luna het dit ook baie geniet veral met haar nuwe kat maatjie. Die plekkie was baie skoon en netjies.

Oh wow. What a lovely stay we had! The view to the ocean was beautifull! Wilma and John was friendly and the place was clean and comfortable, just what we needed! As 1st time MSC cruisers, John even took us to the harbour and came fetch us again, and my car could stay save there. Thanks Wilma & John for your friendliness, I would recommend your place to everyone!
