We, John and Wilna Minnie started MATTANIAH PET FRIENDLY HOLIDAY ACCOMODATION in Winklespruit KZN during May 2021.

We live on the property with, currently, five (5) dogs. We are passionate about animals. We decided on PET Friendly, as we know how difficult it is to get pet friendly accommodation, they are few and far between.

We are fortunate in that our property is 230 meters (walking distance) from a pet friendly beach, visible from the property.

We have a corner property in the shape of a triangle (a, b & c). Side a is closed with a 2 and a half meter CLEAR VU fence with a 5 strand electric fence on top. Side b, has a halve meter brick wall with a 6 strand electric fence on top. The outside of side b has a three meter drop to the holiday flats adjacent to us. Side c has a 3 meter brick wall with a 5 strand electric fence on top. There are two entrances to the property. The guest entrance is a 4 meter remote controlled roll-up door with a 5 strand electric fence on top and the other is a 2 meter remote controlled gate with a 5 strand electric fence on top. (Our entrance).

Since January 2024 we added 16 Cabanas Del Mar, a unit in a beach resort 500 meters from us with direct beach access. This unit is perfect for a family with the resort facilities
